This may have been the easiest thing we have done in our wedding planning and preparation process. Seriously. So, so simple. Go online to the City Clerk website, complete the online application (all of about three pages) and submit it. You receive a confirmation number, which you then take to the actual Office of the City Clerk (conveniently located in Downtown Brooklyn - 4 subway stops away) after at least 24 hours. Wait online for 2 minutes, hand over your license, double check the information you originally inputted, pay the $35.00 fee, receive your license, acknowledge the return time and BAM! You can get married.

I think the tricky part is considered finding the partner. ;-)
