We are also very thankful that our relationship is one that will be recognized and afforded rights. This week the Supreme Court of the United States heard to two cases regarding same-sex marriage. (One case is trying to prove California's Prop. 8 unconstitutional, and the other trying to strike down the U.S. Defense of Marriage Act. The Supreme Court will pass down its decisions in late June.) As strong supporters of equal rights for everyone, we look forward to the day when all couples, straight AND gay, in all 50 states, can say they are one hundred days from their wedding.
