For the last two years I have embarked on a photo journalism project. It began when I noticed that New Yorkers lose a ton of gloves. I was seeing gloves everywhere: on the train, on the bus, at the supermarket, walking around the neighborhood, at the pizza parlor, and the list goes on. So, I took snapshots when I stumbled across the gloves, noted where I saw them, and shared out on Instagram. I now have two winter seasons of gloves, which have added up to nearly 200. It's a bit silly, but it's also really interesting to see where you find gloves, and makes you wonder about the circumstances of their loss.
