In case you had not heard, a blizzard hit the East Coast this weekend (2/8 into 2/9) dumping feet upon feet of snow from New Jersey to Maine. New York City received about 12 inches. Eastern Long Island is enduring more than 3 feet of snow in some places, literally shutting down the Long Island Expressway, which had a large number of abandoned cars.

In we rang the storm in by watching a Friday night snowball fight from our windows and enjoying some brownies. We dug our car out on Saturday morning with the help of a window scraper and tennis racket. And after a busy Saturday, full of wedding appointments, we enjoyed the snow for a bit this afternoon in Prospect Park.
